Environmental Monitoring
Environmental monitoring is a component of many construction projects. The Qualified Environmental Professional, or QEP as they are often referred, provides independent services to ensure that project environmental commitments are being achieved. This is done by affirming project activities comply with environmental provisions defined in;
- construction environmental management plans (CEMPs),
- project approvals,
- authorization permits,
- applicable legislation,
- regulations and guidelines,
- contract documents and specifications, and,
- industry Best Management Practices (BMPs).
Columbia Environmental staff have the skills, knowledge, training and experience required to effectively conduct environmental monitoring programs for a wide variety of construction projects throughout BC including stream crossing installations, pipeline development, highway construction, forestry, land development, etc.
