Resource management refers to our responsibility to ensure that natural resources under our care are conserved to provide a sustained use in the future. Sound resource management requires government agencies (including regional, municipal, provincial and federal) to develop policies that recognize the desirability of multiple uses and place restraints on single purpose uses that are detrimental to other resource values.
